I am very happy with this pump. easy to wash, easy to put together. And small!!
I get a good amount of milk on the "third" setting. Does not hurt either. I pump one side while my baby nurses from the other and I end up with at least 2 ounces in about 3 - 5 minutes. Very happy with it. May buy the bra that aids in making it hands free since it takes batteries!! Right now I use it 2-3 times a day. Going back to work soon with it! |

I was given this pump as a gift from my mother-in-law. I really wanted a small sized pump that I could use at home and when I go out; and this pump has not disappointed me. It's great for a dependable home pump; but I like that I can also use it on the go.
It's not really as quiet as I would have expected. It's about as loud as a cell phone vibrating on a counter top. Not too obnoxious, but not unnoticeable either.
The strength of the suction is perfect. It's strong enough to drain me sufficiently but not so strong that it hurts. In fact, I used this pump for two days exclusively when I was so chapped and sore from breastfeeding. The pump was very comfortable and allowed me to take a break from the pain without having to stop giving my baby my own breast milk.
The handle that allows you to pump both sides at a time is nice, but kind of awkward to use. I tried it one time but if I moved at all, one or both sides lost suction. This defeated the purpose of being able to multi-task. It ended up taking the same amount of time as when I only pump one side at a time so I don't use the handle anymore. I've heard others say that their pump didn't work as well when they pumped one side at a time but I haven't had any problems using mine that way. The instruction manual does say that it is OK to be used like that. Considering the fact that the single pump is around $15 cheaper, I would suggest saving a little money and buying that one instead. The handle just isn't worth the higher cost in my opinion.
My favorite part about this pump is the bottles. My baby didn't like any other bottles that we tried. The Breastflow bottles have been wonderful. I liked them so much that I got The First Years Breastflow BPA Free Starter Set to expand to the set. If you use this pump with these bottles, you can just unscrew the collection bottle from the pump, add the nipple, and give directly to the baby. The less you have to transfer the milk from one bottle to another, the less chance you have that the milk will come in contact with bacteria.
I'm really thankful for this pump. It's absolutely perfect for my needs. The best part about the pump is the cute tote bag that comes with it. I feel happy carrying it around without embarrassment. I've even been complimented on how cute my bag is and the person had no idea that I had my pump in it. :) I love my pump and would recommend it to others. |
Quiet Quick Pump

| Best pump, quiet and quick. I use this pump many times a day and it has been the only thing to allow me to still give our son breast milk. He did not take to nursing and after many weeks of frustration I just started to pump. The suction is perfect, I am done in 15 mins and it comes with the most fantastic bottles. (I actually bought more of the bottles because he will not take any others) I only hope I can find replacement suction cups so my sister can use it when she is ready. |
Repeatedly stopped working

| This pump worked great...at first. I had the pump for approximately six weeks. It worked perfectly until one day it just completely stopped working. Their customer service department was relatively helpful except they said that the pump wasn't designed to be used for moms who pump exclusively. They sent out a replacement pump. However, less than two weeks later, the brand new pump stopped working as well. After having to buy a manual pump which did not work very well and then having to rent a hospital-grade pump while waiting for the replacement miPump, I spent enough to have bought a more expensive and better quality pump in the first place. -Just not worth it, even for the inexpensive price. |
